This story will leave you speechless!

Two Lipscomb University students Arika Stovall and Hunter Hanks were involved in a horrific car accident last week on their way back from Atlanta – and a photo of them in the hospital has gone viral.

According to Arika, neither she or her boyfriend know how the accident happened exactly – but within three seconds they had drifted off the road and were headed towards a bridge pillar going 85 mph. Miraculously, the couple survived the accident with very few injuries, despite Hunter's head going through the windshield and the truck being completely destroyed (as pictured above).

But the picture that has everyone talking is below. Hunter and Arika are clearly both injured, wearing neck braces and bandages, but the loving gaze shared between them speaks a thousand words.

"When we were both lying in our beds in the ER he found a way to come protect my heart and give me a hug. Lord knows I needed that just as much as my safety," the 21-year-old wrote in a lengthy caption.

"Here is the miracle part: no broken bones, concussions that lasted not even 24 hours, no internal damage, and just a few stitches in my knee and Hunter's face," she wrote. "Only that after an accident that paramedics wonder how we didn't die instantly and a truck that looks like it's been through a tree grinder."
