He’s ready to be a dad!
Earlier this week, Josh Duhamel and his wife, Fergie, announced their big baby news. And now the 40-year-old star is opening about his pregnant lady — and what made her pregnancy feel real.
“It’s very exciting. Seeing that ultrasound is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. You’re like, ‘Wow, it’s mine,’” the actor recently shared during a press junket for his new movie Safe Haven.
Though it’s the first child for both, Josh has a lot of experience with kids — he plays a dad of two in the romantic thriller.

“I think that I’ve always had an affinity for kids. There’s something about me and kids that just clicks,” he said. “I don’t know if it’s because I am a kid, but it does prepare you whenever you’re around them.”
He continues, ”I’ve got nieces and nephews and all my friends have kids. All that stuff is a learning experience for when it actually happens, but I don’t think you’re ever truly prepared until it’s your own.”
Josh and Fergie, 37, married in January 2009 after dating for nearly five years.
