For the 17th season of Dancing With the Stars, pro dancer Cheryl Burke will be sharing the inside scoop with Life & Style readers! In this week’s edition, Cheryl reveals how partner Jack Osbourne has inspired her and how proud she is of their performance last night — they scored a 23!I’m so excited to talk all things DWTS with Life & Style’s readers this season! It’s been great working with my partner, Jack, and I’m so proud of him thus far.
He's definitely inspired me about his whole awareness with Multiple Sclerosis. I really wasn't educated about it. Just seeing him overcome and being able to joke about it — he jokes about it all the time — is inspiring to me. It’s really courageous of him to be able to go out there. It’s a big issue and it’s so great that he's doing this show to raise awareness.
Jack Osbourne Doesn't Leave Wife's Side After Emotional Dancing With the Stars Debut
I want to make sure he’s good with this hectic schedule. I understand that he’s under high pressure and stress. We have great chemistry. We have a sarcastic sense of humor, so 90 percent of rehearsal is just us having fun and, obviously, I tell him to be honest with me — if he’s tired and we need to take a day off, he’s to let me know. I know that his body needs to rest, but physically, he’s doing what I would’ve done with a guy who doesn’t have MS.
Health is the most important thing with this show. I want him to have a great experience and feel healthy. He picks up the steps so quickly, so I’m not worried about losing time. All I really care about is that he takes the time that he needs rather than having to drop out of the competition.
We’ve had so many funny moments already this season. We’re both vulgar and we like to prank each other. He’s like a big brother! Every time I sweat, I always have a sweaty mustache, so sometimes he’ll make fun of me. But he’s a really humble, sweet guy. I can’t believe he’s only 27. He’s been through so much life already. He’s a family man — and he loves his family. That comes first. There’s no ego with him. He’s just a typical guy you’d meet on the street.

What’s surprised me most about him is that fact that he’s terrified of dancing in front of people let alone millions, but he was perfect during our first performance! It went so well and I’m just so happy. I knew he could dance, I just wasn’t sure if he was there mentally since he was freaking himself out!
Until next time,Cheryl
