Two months after police officer Darren Wilson killed 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., it’s been revealed he got married.
Wilson, 28, who fatally shot the teen on the street following an altercation inside the cop’s SUV, wed fellow officer Barbara Spradling in Overland, Mo., on Oct. 24, according to 'The New York Times'. Wilson has been on administrative leave since the tragic event.

The news was revealed last night, just hours before a grand jury decided not to indict Wilson, who is white, for the killing of Brown, who was black.
Upon hearing the verdict, many people in Ferguson began protesting on the streets — going as far as looting and setting buildings on fire. A steady stream of police officers tried to control the shocking situation with tear gas.

According to Wilson, he maintains he was only trying to protect himself when he approached Brown that August day. He told grand jurors the youth — who had just graduated high school a few days earlier — came at him aggressively. However, witnesses claim Brown had his hands raised to surrender. He was not carrying a weapon.
