Being a dad in real life has brought on a lot of changes for Parenthood actor Dax Shepard and girlfriend Kristen Bell. The cute couple welcomed daughter Lincoln in March and it has given the Dax a new perspective at home as well as at work.

Dax explained how having baby Lincoln at home has affected his time on set. Being around a baby at home and babies all day at work doesn't seem to phase the new dad. Despite all of the crying and diapers, he finds the babies on Parenthood adorable.
"It's the opposite of what you might imagine because now I love babies,” he says. “I'm supposed to be frustrated with the crying baby in the scene and now I'm like, Oh my god, look at this little stinker!"

This is a big change from how Dax felt about babies on set before Lincoln was born.
“What's funny is last year we were stuck in a scene with Monica [Potter] and Adam's kid, it was torture. But now that I have one, I love being around the baby, I got like, a software upgrade, Now I love it."

Having an infant at home has has taught also taught Dax some useful tricks when dealing with babies on-set.“I got secret weapons: the happiest baby system, the five S's: swaddling, sideways stomach [position], shushing sounds, swinging and sucking.”
