For Diem Brown, motherhood is something she always wanted to experience.
The two-time ovarian cancer survivor even froze her eggs in hopes she’d someday be able to have her own children.
But when she was diagnosed for a third time with colon cancer back in August, her dream of childbirth was no longer a possibility.

In a new interview, the MTV reality star, 32, opens up about receiving the news no woman wants to hear and how she plans to still experience motherhood.
"I fought for it so much, and I wasn't allowed to have it," she says. "I'm not pitying myself, but there's a mind-set that you can do anything, and that's what I'd always believed.
"I would love to be pregnant; I would love to feel a life growing inside me, but I know that's not an option anymore."
When she decides to start a family, the beauty reveals she’ll take the surrogate route.
“My big goal in life is to prove people wrong,” she tells People exclusively. “You think I'm out? Watch: I'm going to get healthy, and I'm going to have my family and my dream again.”
