Congrats are in order for Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright! The Vanderpump Rules stars are engaged — and the couple shared the exciting news on Instagram.

"Omg omg!!!!!!!! We are ENGAGED! What a way to start our summer and Season 7," Brittany, 29, captioned a photo of her stunning engagement ring and Jax's smiling face. "I am so happy, so in love, and so beyond excited for this next chapter of our lives! I can’t wait for all of you to see how he proposed! I am the happiest girl ever right now. Love can win."

Jax, 38, also gushed about the engagemt, adding, "She said yes!!! I can’t wait for y’all to see how this happened next season!!! I am marrying the woman of my dreams and I could not be happier!! Make sure y’all tune in season 7 to see how this unfolded." While the couple might be excited, some fans of the Bravo series are still not over Jax's cheating.

Last season, it was revealed that Jax cheated on his girlfriend of three years with his co-worker Faith Stowers. "This isn’t my first time being caught cheating. You know, in the past, I’ve gone through months and months of deny, deny, deny, and that didn’t work out for me," he said on the show. "Brittany and I had been fighting for a long time. There’s just so many things. I didn’t know [Faith] was gonna say anything … I don’t know, man." Brittany and Jax did break up following the news of his affair but they quickly got back together — and fans are obviously still salty AF.

"I just called my mum and told her Jax and Brittany from pump rules got engaged and now we’re really disappointed in Brittany because she could so much better than that trash," one fan wrote on Twitter before another added, "Hell has frozen over! Jax and Brittany are engaged?! Anything is possible in the world." A third chimed in, "Jax and Brittany are engaged evil has triumphed." Yikes.

Brittany and Jax met in Las Vegas in 2015 and eventually she moved from Kentucky to LA to be with the SUR bartender. She joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules in 2016 and one year later the couple got their own spin-off show on the network called Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky.
