The Kardashians Love Wearing Real Fur — Even If Their Fans Hate It!

Despite fan backlash (and the occasional flour bomb), the Kardashians love to wear real fur. Since becoming household names, the famous sisters have worn the controversial fashion accessory on more than one occasion, and don't apologize for it.

Even Khloé Kardashian, who posed nude for PETA, was recently spotted wearing a white fur coat, along with her sister Kourtney Kardashian and BFF Malika Haqq, in Cleveland. "Mixtape dropping in 2018," she captioned the group selfie. Previously, fans were very vocal when Kourtney captioned a selfie wearing a fur coat, "Mood."

"Love the Kardashians — Hate seeing the fur. Be a role model for good and stop wearing it please," one fan tweeted before another added, "I don't understand someone as famous as she is, wearing real fur. No morals or compassion."

Even momager Kris Jenner got in on the fur fun, wearing a white fur stole in her now iconic pic holding a martini with platinum blonde hair. "Fur is so barbaric," one fan commented. However, it was Kim Kardashian who was attacked physically for her love of the animal byproduct. In 2012, she was assaulted by a PETA supporter and covered in flour on the red carpet.

The incident was captured by KUWTK cameras and forced Khloé to distance herself from the animal rights' organization. “I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating otherwise,” Khloé wrote on her blog at the time. "I am absolutely disgusted by [PETA’s] behavior. Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions — I personally don’t wear fur but that doesn’t mean I am going to force my views on anyone else, ESPECIALLY by violating them."

In Kim's defense, it has been reported that she only wears fur made from roadkill. "Kim doesn't want to upset anti-fur fans, especially by the way she dresses North, so everything is going to be replaced with a new roadkill wardrobe," a source told Star magazine. However, that didn't stop Pamela Anderson from writing an open letter to the brunette beauty asking her to stop wearing fur. "I'm writing to ask you to extend your compassion to real fashion victims — the animals who are violently killed in the fur trade — by swearing off fur this winter," Pamela wrote before adding that she would "be horrified to learn that every single fur farm that PETA has exposed has been beyond cruel."

She continued, "Be a hero for animals as well as a great example to all [your] beautiful followers by swearing off fur." We don't see that happening anytime soon...
