Someone’s got babies on the brain – and it’s Halle Berry’s daughter Nahla!
“She’s asking me every day for [a sibling],” the actress admits on The Wendy Williams Show on Nov. 1. “Every night we do our prayers, and she says, ‘God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister!’”
Halle jokes that she can promise her 4-year-old only one of those things (referring to the bunk bed) and that “the one other one we gotta keep praying on!”
The actress, who became a mother at age 41, also says she’s glad she waited to have a child when she did.
“I’m a much better mother at 46, or 41 when I had her, than if I were like 21 or 25,” the Cloud Atlas star tells Wendy. “I was just a little baby trying to figure out who I was! So I’m so glad I waited.”
Though the 46-year-old split with Nahla’s father, Gabriel Aubry, she’s been dating Olivier Martinez since 2010 and they announced their engagement in March.
“[Marriage] is one of those never-say-never things,” she’s said. “I’m a hopeless romantic, and I won’t stop till I get it right!”
We wish her – and any future babies – all the best!
