"Smiley," the dog with no eyes who serves as a certified therapy animal, has quickly become an Internet sensation.
This adorable pup spent his earlier years in a puppy mill until he was rescued by Joanne George, a woman who runs a dog training service, Training the K9 Way.

After taking him under her wing, Smiley's been trained to help hundreds of individuals with mental and physical disabilities.
"People were so drawn to him, so inspired by him." she told 'CBS News.' "I realized this dog has to be a therapy dog — I have to share him."
Coming from a difficult past, Smiley has been able to teach people to never take anything for granted, not to hold grudges, and live each day for today.
"Dogs can come back from anything, they forget their past," George said. "We as humans, dwell on the past."
