The Doritos Girl Now: Find Out What Ali Landry Looks Like Today

If you were watching the Super Bowl in 1998, you definitely remember the “Doritos Girl.”

Played by Ali Landry in her first breakout role, the commercial features her doing backflips around a laundromat while eating Doritos for an audience of shocked men (one of them being Will and Grace‘s Sean Hayes).

The commercial was so popular, Ali became an instant celebrity and later appeared in follow-up Doritos commercials. Curious to see what she looks like today? Watch the video below to see what the now 43-year-old is up to now.

Surprisingly, in 2014, Ali revealed the coveted role that rocketed her to fame was an audition she didn’t even want to go on.

“I was looking at the storyboard [at the audition], and they kind of wanted me to flip around and do these things,” she told Too Fab. “And I was like, ‘Do I really want to do this?’ It was one of those moments, and I was like, ‘Well I’m here, I already got dressed, let me just do it.'”

Thanks to her background in dance and gymnastics, she managed to impress the casting director with her flips and snagged the part. However, she had no idea the commercial would air during the Super Bowl.

“So I was at a big Super Bowl party,” she explained. “So the commercial comes on and I remember all these [shocked] reactions from people, and I didn’t know if I should sink under the table. It was a little awkward.”
