We're not in the Tipton Hotel anymore! Dylan Sprouse's new movie — Dismissed — follows Lucas Ward, an honors student, on his quest to do anything for an A. From what we know about the film so far, Lucas seems to be a bit of a psychopath and is even giving us major Riverdale feels. Maybe Dylan can get some pointers from his twin, Cole Sprouse on how to act in an eerie role. It does seem like this is just the kind of complex character Dylan was waiting to bring to life.

“I’m interested in roles that are human, that have some sort of empathic quality,” he told the New York Daily News earlier this year. “A role I would not do: cool jock. That’s not something I’d be interested in doing. Scripts that make characters a two-sentence description, I’m not interested in." So, let's learn more about his latest role. But first, check out the Dismissed movie trailer below!

What is Dismissed about?

The description of the movie is, "An idealistic, straight-edge teacher is drawn down a horrid rabbit hole by an honors student who's willing to do anything for an A." And that seems like only the tip of the iceberg. Most dedicated students aren't willing to commit crimes for good grades, but Lucas seems like he isn't above terrorizing his teacher.

This role is Dylan's first acting gig since Disney Channel. He left acting to study at New York University and later started his own brewery. But, now the dreamy twin is making his return to the screen in a role that's sure to haunt his fans.

When does Dismissed come out?

The movie's release date is scheduled for Nov. 21. It won't go to theatres but will be available on VOD and digital platforms.

Is Lucas Ward a serial killer?

While Dismissed might not be a serial killer movie, Lucas definitely seems like he's a psychopath on the rise. And there's no denying that many psychopaths do at some point become violent. We mean, this is a guy who gets so upset over a B+ grade that he actually goes after his teacher. This movie looks super intriguing and we can't wait to see what Dylan does with the role!
