"I need to make new music and I'm excited about that. I have time now since we finished filming [DWTS], so I'm looking forward to writing new songs and getting out there and performing," she explained. "I look forward to making new music and having something to say. I don't know if I'm going to be bratty or sassy, but I know one thing — I'll never apologize and I'll always be myself."

Her most recent single — "XXPEN$IVE" — was released last month. She admitted that she likes to use music as an escape: "For me it's about feelings or words or people I'm inspired by. I try to make records that people want to dance to and that make you want to smile. I like to escape through music."

"How Many F**ks?"

Keeping with her carefree theme, "How Many F**ks?" sounds like a pop song you'd dance to at a nightclub.

"I fell in love with nightlife and was always the girl dancing around the club having a good time," she told Vanity Hype last month. "I love hearing songs that make you want to throw your drink down and run to the dance floor."

"Pretty Mess"

Her single from her debut studio album of the same name is one her most popular songs. She recently said her fanbase has grown since being on DWTS.

"Everyone watches this show. Flight attendants I never thought would have cared who Erika Jayne was come up to me now," she said. "Now my audience is teenagers, college kids, and even housewives my own age are listening and getting into the music and message of Erika Jayne and the philosophy of the Pretty Mess."
