Bethenny Frankel was hoping to get her ratings up and the audience of her new talk show excited with a spicy Real Housewives of New York City reunion, but her former castmates are turning her down.

Alex McCord, who now hosts The Real Deal on The Stir, exclusively tells Life & Style that Bethenny’s staff offered her a low compensation for an appearance. Alex, 40, declined.

“A RHONY reunion is a valuable product and it should not be on anybody’s talk show,” she tells the mag. “It is not the right venue. For a reunion of that magnitude, it should either be done on Bravo or not at all. It should have Andy involved. It’s just not the right place.”

EXCLUSIVE: Jill Zarin Refuses to Go on Bethenny Frankel's "Fake" Talk Show

And Alex wasn’t the only one to turn Bethenny down. When fellow RHONY alum and Bethenny’s former BFF Jill Zarin, 49, was asked to appear on the show by Bethenny’s people, “I flat out said, ‘no’” she tells Life & Style.

Despite their differences, Jill had emailed her old pal congrats when Bethenny was green-lit. But when Bethenny, 42, in turn had handlers reach out to secure Jill as a guest, the redhead balked.

“I was hoping she was looking for a resolution and not to use me for ratings,” confesses Jill. “I felt I deserved that since we were such good friends. She should have called me herself.”
