Think Cameron Diaz is a diva? Think again!
Life & Style can reveal that the A-Lister, 41, grabbed brunch with her mom, Billie, and a couple of friends on Nov. 30 at Prune in NYC’s East Village — and refused to cut the line!
“Even though the host offered to skip them, Cameron said she didn’t mind waiting,” a fellow diner tells Life & Style. “I thought that was really cool of her!”
The starlet, who took some time out of her busy filming schedule for the 2014 Annie reboot, ordered and shared several dishes with her group. Before leaving, Cameron wanted to capture the fun outing on camera.
“Cameron asked the waitress to take a picture of them together holding up their drinks,” the observer says. “It was super cute!”

But it was back to business two days later for the blonde beauty! Cameron and her Annie co-stars, including Jamie Foxx (Benjamin Stacks, an update of the character Daddy Warbucks) and Quvenzhané Wallis (Annie), were seen performing the film’s iconic song “Tomorrow” in the streets of Manhattan on Monday. Cam plays Miss Hannigan, the wicked caretaker of Annie and the other orphan girls.
Unlike the original film, in which Annie is the only character to perform the track, the remake features the ensemble cast belting out the big number.
The movie, which also stars Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale, is being directed by Will Gluck and produced by Jay Z and Will Smith. It’s scheduled for release next December.
