In fact, the Duchess, 31, was originally supposed to study art history at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. But in a surprising change of heart, Kate decided to take a year off and applied to the University of St Andrews — where Prince William, 31, was set to attend college. Some believe that Kate, who had already met the prince through friends at her boarding school, might have changed her university plans just so that she could get close to William!
