Lady Gaga’s beau of more than one year, actor Taylor Kinney, 31, is getting the thumbs-up from one of the superstar singer’s close confidantes, Lady Starlight.
 
“I love Taylor!” Starlight, 37, gushes in the new issue of Life & Style, on newsstands now. “I have no doubt he’s the one for her!”

Starlight had her reservations before meeting Taylor, but quickly corrected herself. “I thought he was going to be too hot to be interesting and cool, but I was wrong. He’s totally awesome.”
 
Another reason for Starlight’s seal of approval? “Being with Taylor makes Gaga really happy and comfortable.”

And now that Lady Gaga's hectic schedule has come to a halt — she had to cancel the remainder of her Born This Way Ball tour due to a "labral tear of the right hip" — it looks like she'll be spending even more time with her beau.
 
Starlight adds that Gaga, 26, has made Chicago "her home at the moment" since Taylor is busy shooting on location for NBC's Chicago Fire.

“She spends so much time in Chicago, because that’s where Taylor needs to be,” explains Starlight. “So when she has time to be wherever she wants to be, she’ll be with him.”
 
The self-described “terminally single” pop star says she looks up to Gaga and Taylor as role models for relationships. “You can have a really great relationship and really great individual careers and be there for each other and support each other,” she tells Life & Style of their ideal love.

The duo have been dating since September 2011. Considering it's Valentine's Day, we wonder what Taylor has in store for his leading lady!
