Country superstars Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are breaking into the hospitality business! Life & Style has learned that after purchasing a building on Main Street in their hometown of Tishomingo, Okla., for $180,000, the couple are devoting some TLC to revive their small town’s economy. “We plan on turning it into a bed-and-breakfast,” Miranda was overheard telling locals on March 13. “We have a lot of work to do!” An insider close to Miranda tells Life & Style that "people have been coming from as far as California and Missouri and Texas — they drive from all over" to visit the country crooners’ hometown, population 3,000. And this isn’t first business venture for the couple. Miranda currently owns and operates Pink Pistol, a clothing store across the street from their newly acquired property. The pal tells Life & Style, "They love it here. It's their heart. They are really down-to-earth and true to their roots.” A Nashville pal adds, “Miranda tells everyone she’s in it for the long haul,” which could include settling down in Tishomingo and starting a family. “She counts on growing old with Blake in the country.”
