Sixty-nine days and counting!
“We’ve been wedding planning all week and it will be the most beautiful wedding you’ve ever seen,” the Dallas native told Life & Style at his 30th birthday party at 1Oak inside The Mirage Las Vegas on Friday. “We want the ceremony to be really traditional and special. We want the reception to be a big party. We got her family and my family coming together to have a blast.”
Sean dished even more details on their upcoming union — like which famous faces from The Bachelor franchise will attend.
“I’ve got several guys who were on the show with me — John Wolfner, Charlie Grogan, Ari Luyendyk, Jr. and Jef Holm,” he shared. “She’s got a ton of girls that were actually on my season that she became very close with. It’s going to be fun.”
When asked if he’s nervous about the wedding be aired on national TV, Sean said all he cares about is taking the next step with Catherine.
“I want to marry this woman! I’m not really concerned about the fact that millions of people may be watching,” he said. “I don’t care about the flowers and everything that goes into the wedding. I just want to marry her.”
As Life & Style reported in this week’s issue, on stands now, ABC gave the pair $1 million to plan their nuptials. "Catherine is going all out on their wedding," an insider tells the mag.
And planning is full speed ahead! Catherine and Sean released their quirky save-the-dates last week. “Lovers, friends, family and Jack Nicholson, please join Catherine and Sean and hologram Tupac [Shakur] for the wedding of the century,” the announcement jokes. They also feature the pair wearing big bear heads while riding a two-person bike.
“We’re fun and goofy. We wanted the save-the-dates to reflect that,” Sean, who proposed to Catherine, 27, on The Bachelor finale with a 3.15-carat platinum-and-diamond ring, explained. “We had so much fun doing that photo shoot and wearing those big bear heads on the beach. We had a blast!”
