Along with the up and down hormones, the 19-year-old is also facing many struggles with her second pregnancy. After giving birth to her son, Gannon, 2, doctors advised Mackenzie not to get pregnant again due to her type 1 diabetes. She has a high chance of slipping into a coma during labor, which poses a high risk for her and the baby.

“Sometimes I go to my room and breakdown and just cry to let it all out,” Mackenzie tells Life & Style. “I’ve done that so many times through this pregnancy. I feel selfish because I really am blessed with a lot. My pregnancy hormones are out of whack and when my blood sugar is all messed up. I just feel like the worst mother ever.”
She adds, “I don’t even know why I feel that way. I hate feeling like I’m not in control and I feel like I don’t have control over my body sometimes when it messes up like that.”
Mackenzie admits that she’s more emotional and depressed this time around.

Since welcoming her first child, Mackenzie has been a devoted and caring mother. When she's feeling sad, her faith is there to help guide her.
“I just turn to God and he always bring me through it,” she tells the mag.
The MTV star may feel helpless at times, but she’s a survivor.
“I’m a fighter and I will fight to keep my family together,” she says. “It’s so important to me to have a big family. I’ve always been a family kind of girl.”
