One time Bachelor contestant Erin Storm has tragically died in a plane crash, according to multiple reports.
The pilot, who competed on Matt Grant's season of the hit dating show in 2008, was allegedly flying an Airborne XT-912 light-sport, weight-shift control plane when she crashed shortly after taking off from Hawthorne Municipal Airport in LA on Monday.

An eyewitness tells NBC that the aircraft burst into flames after hitting the ground. "All of a sudden, my partner started yelling, 'Watch out, there's a plane coming!' and it looked like the plane veered up, lost control and hit a couple feet away from the truck, a couple feet away from us," Bryon Mayes, who was working near the airport, says.

Although Mayes and his coworkers were able to pull Storm out of the plane, her legs were reportedly on fire and she was in cardiac arrest when rescue crews arrived. She was pronounced dead after being transported to a trauma center.
Storm was eliminated during week 3 of the Bachelor's 12th season, which saw Shayne Lamas snag the final rose. News of her death comes just a month after fellow contestant Lex McAllister died in an apparent suicide.
