Not all Bachelorette couplings end in heartbreak!
Season 9 leading lady Desiree Hartsock married her pick Chris Siegfried on Jan. 18 in Palos Verdes, Calif. — with no cameras in sight! The move is a departure from the show's other successful couples, who all chose to tie the knot on television.

The pair became engaged during Des' season finale, which aired in August 2013. Chris proposed with a Neil Lane ring featuring an intertwining gold and platinum band.
Before the weekend nuptials, the groom-to-be, 29, tweeted, "So excited for the big day! @DesHartsock and I can't wait to share with everyone! #countdown #9days #hopingforsun."
On Sunday, Des, 28, shared a picture of what appeared to be a program, which read, "Let all you do be done in love."

Previous Bachelorettes have had significantly more luck than 'Bachelor' contestants when it comes to making it down the aisle. Season 1's Trista Rehn and season 7's Ashley Hebert both married the men they picked while Sean Lowe is the only Bachelor to exchange "I Do's" with his final choice.
Congrats to the happy couple! 'Us Weekly' was first to report news of the wedding.
