George Clooney famously said he would never get married again. Oops.
And now that he’s engaged to British lawyer Amal Alamuddin, 36, he’s sparing no expense as they plan their lavish – and we mean lavish! – nuptials.
“He’s going to spend a king’s ransom to show how much he loves and cherishes her,” a source tells Life & Style in this week's issue.

The couple will wed in style, say insiders, at his $30 million, 15-bedroom Villa Oleandra estate on Lake Como in Italy.
“It’ll be a three-day extravaganza with the finest wines and delicacies from Italy, boat rides on the lake and fireworks at night,” a friend of the couple tells the mag.
It’ll cost George, 53, a small fortune to get his family from Ohio and Kentucky and Amal’s relatives from Beirut to Italy to share in their big day.

Other expenses, however, add up to a whopping $2,000,000! No joke.
These include: Vintage wine and champagne ($300K), his custom Armani tuxedo ($10K), security around Lake Como ($500K), catering an epic feast ($45K) and flowers and other decorations ($100K).
Yep, all this for Amal’s dream wedding, which will no doubt be in paradise.
“[Lake Como] is one of the most beautiful places in the who world,” he raves to Life & Style.
