Ever wonder what it’s like for Giuliana Rancic on Hollywood’s biggest day?
The E! News host chatted exclusively with Life & Style this week, and dished on her preparation for Sunday's Oscars.
First things first, the beauty sets aside time for her and husband Bill Rancic’s 18-month-old son Duke.
“We’ll take him for a walk when we get,” she tells Life & Style.
“We go to our favorite coffee shop down the street and get some family time in before the craziness starts.”

And then it’s off to Hollywood Boulevard for the hostess with the mostess.
“I get ready at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel for about two hours,” Giuliana shares.
“I’ll do hair and makeup, and then I spend about 20 minutes getting in my dress and putting on jewelry.”
E! has expanded their pre-show coverage this season, so Giuliana will be on-air for about five hours straight.
“They called me a couple of weeks ago and told me the news. I love it though! I’m totally fine doing it,” she tells the mag.
“I’m always tweeting and Instagramming during the commercial breaks when I probably should be focusing on something else and preparing for the next interview! But I love it. It’s so much fun.”

This year marks the pro’s 12th season, and her end of red carpet ritual remains the same.
“I don’t even hesitate – the second that red light goes off, I’m out of my shoes and dress and home within 45 minutes,” she says.
“I take that dress right off and change into sweats!”
While the day is certainly jam-packed, the week leading up to the big event is just as insane.
“I feel like this whole awards season has been crazy, but crazy good,” she tells the mag.
“Now that there’s so many more movies nominated, we have to make sure we’re seeing all the movies.”
Luckily, G’s teamed up with Chase Freedom for 2014. She gets 5% cash back with every ticket she purchases!
“The most important thing for me is seeing all of the movies,” she says. “That’s all been done, and now it’s really about the dress.
And she has every reason to be tired — she tells us she’s tried on more than 20 gowns this week!
E! kicks off their Oscars red carpet coverage starting at 1:30 p.m. ET Sunday.
