It's hard to believe that Glee first premiered nearly eight years ago! And even harder to believe that it's been off the air for two years already (where did the time go?)!
Since the show's finale, the cast has been busy starring in new shows, writing books, and competing in live dance competition shows (we're looking at you Heather Morris). And while it pretty much feels like the cast has been around forever, it's pretty wild to think that a lot of them got their start when Glee debuted in 2009 — thank you Ryan Murphy!
After all, that's when stars like Chris Colfer and Amber Riley walked one of their first red carpets! Of course, actresses like Lea Michele and Dianna Agron were fortunate enough to have notable roles before the show aired, and were seasoned red carpet pros well before 2009.
Lea had a lead role in the Broadway play Spring Awakening before nabbing the role of Rachel Berry and Dianna was in Heroes and Veronica Mars before she embodied Quinn Fabray. On the flip side, Darren Criss's first major TV role was as Blaine Anderson and Becca Tobin's was as Kitty Wilde. Talk about a diverse group of stars!
