A man who fake proposed to his girlfriend has somehow lived to tell the tale.
Brandon Griffin, 25, and his girlfriend Deanna Calabria, 26 have been together for about a year and have a baby on the way. The father-to-be decided he wanted to prank Deanna because of her tendency to snoop.
So, after finding his old graduation tassel in a ring box, Brandon cooked up the scheme to teach his baby mama a lesson. He hid the box in his sock drawer and asked Deanna if she would do some laundry while he was out. Of course, she found the box, popped it open and was greeted not by a sparkling diamond ring, but by a note reading "LOL, JK".

Brandon posted the prank on Reddit, with the caption, "I set a trap for my girlfriend in my sock drawer on laundry day, she fell for it".

Speaking to 'Cosmopolitan,' Brandon explains, "We've been together for a while and we've talked about getting married. I kind of wanted to tease her for snooping so much on me! We just had her baby shower and we couldn't keep anything a secret from her because she snoops all the time."
Luckily for him, Deanna must really be his match because she found the prank to be hilarious! We'd hate to be around their house on April Fools...
