If this doesn't say "we're officially back on," what does?
On Feb. 6, Rihanna accompanied Chris Brown to his court hearing in LA. According to reports, the two entertainers attended Chris’ “probation state update hearing.”
The 23-year-old “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer is on probation as result of his 2009 assault case for violently attacking Rihanna.

Rihanna, 24, sat front row, right behind Chris, with his mom Joyce Hawkins.
Considering how badly bruised he left the songstress during the infamous incident, has Rihanna gone too far by publicly supporting him? They may have recorded duets, talked about each other in interviews, shared very intimate photos, but for the Barbadian beauty to show up at this specific court hearing, what kind of message is the chart-topper sending?

Following the 2009 attack, Chris was sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service, which a judge agreed to let him complete in his home state, Virginia. Yesterday’s hearing centered on the DA’s office requesting the singer finish, or maybe redo, his 1,440 hours of community service in LA. According to the DA, Chris lied about some of his labor — Chris wasn’t in town on some of the dates he claimed he did the labor.
Regardless, Rihanna just doesn’t care what anyone thinks.
“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” she recently explained of their relationship. “I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”
NEWS: Why Rihanna's patched her relationship up with Chris Brown
If something is to happen again, she says she’ll walk, “he doesn’t have the luxury of [messing] up again.”
Though he may not have hit her again, he’s already “messed up.” In January, Chris got into an altercation with singer Frank Ocean over a parking space. Police described the fight as “battery,” which included Chris punching Frank. Luckily for Chris, his victim said he wouldn’t press charges.
While Rihanna believes her on-again boyfriend has changed for the better, his recent actions say otherwise.
