Gone Girl is now filming, and here's the first picture of Ben Affleck in the lead role.
The movie, based on the popular novel by Gillian Flynn, stars Rosamund Pike as Amy, a woman who goes missing. Ben plays her husband Nick. The film is being produced by Reese Witherspoon's production company.

Today, 20th Century Fox tweeted the first official photo from the Gone Girl set, with Ben in costume as Nick and a poster of Rosamund's face as Amy on a Missing poster. The book is about a successful NYC couple who fall on financial difficulties and relocate to Nick's hometown in Missouri, where they begin having marital problems.

Emily Ratajkowski, best known for being the brunette model in Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines video, will make her screen debut in the flick. The movie also features Neil Patrick Harris, Casey Wilson, and Tyler Perry.
Gone Girl will hit theaters on October 3, 2014.
