The stars shined brighter than ever at last night's Golden Globes, but it was thanks to sweat more than anything else (we see you, Matthew McConaughey!)
According to 'Vanity Fair', the air conditioning at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, where the ceremony was held, was completely shut off — meaning those hours of beauty prep weren't so necessary after all!

And due to the rainy, mid-'50s temperature, the room was extra humid (not exactly the type of sauna these celebs are used to!)
Nominee Frances McDormand was seen fanning herself at one point while presenters Katherine Heigl, David Duchovny and Clive Owen all looked super uncomfortable as well — we bet the bevy of alcohol consumption throughout the evening didn't help either.

Let's face it: a sweaty room isn't the worst thing that could happen — after all, seeing a moist Matthew is nothing new!
