Next summer when Prince William and Kate Middleton give birth to their royal baby — or babies — they'll need some help decorating the nursery for the future queen or king of England.
And HGTV Design Star judge Genevieve Gorder is here to give her advice to the pregnant duchess and her hubby.

"I would go with a gender-neutral color, like a dove grey with a dusty, feathery, color," Genevieve told Life & Style while promoting the HGTV Holiday House and HGTV Home Pop-Up Showroom at Mall of America. "Then I’d bring in a lot of colorful graphic elements to it to represent the couple and who they are now. I'd bring that into the linens, and the upholstery."
Genevieve also recommends that the couple make sure the nursery has a mix of royal items, as well as kids toys.

"You bring in the precious items, the disposable silly toys and the heirlooms," she explains. "In general, I think it’s a combination of new and old."
Hopefully we’ll get to see the nursery when it’s done!
