Check in With the Cast of ‘Home Alone’ 27 Years After the Film Became a Christmas Classic!

There's really only one Christmas movie you need to watch this year, and that's Home Alone. It has everything: comedy, suspense, and a few thousand booby traps! Though we'd never dream of asking for a remake — why ruin something so iconic? — it's nice to hear every once in awhile about the cast's impromptu reunions, like the time Catherine O'Hara (Kate McCallister) ran into Macaulay Culkin (Kevin McCallister).

"I hadn't seen him for years and years, but I saw him two years ago — or a year-and-a-half ago — at a Martin Mull art opening, and he was coming out, and he went, 'Mommy!' And I said, 'Baby!'" Catherine recalled in 2015. "My husband, who's usually cool about these things, was like, 'Okay, both of you get together, I'm getting a picture!' And he got beautiful pictures on his phone, which I wish I had to show."

But the most ironic part? "He was living in Paris at the time and he looked lovely, and he was doing really well, and I was happy to see him," she shared.
