Ashton Kutcher is staying mum on the subject of Mila Kunis.

In a new interview in the April issue of Elle magazine, the Two and a Half Men star explains how his split with Demi Moore may have influenced his current relationship with the 29-year-old brunette beauty.

“I’ve learned that there are a lot of things in your life that really benefit from being private,” he shares. “And relationships are one of them. And I am going to do everything in my power to have this relationship [with Kunis] be private.”

Earlier this month, Demi responded to Ashton filing for divorce in December. In the filed paperwork, the 50-year-old cites “irreconcilable differences” and is seeking spousal support as well as attorney fees. The duo separated in November 2011.

Since the split, the 35-year-old has been romancing his former That 70’s Show co-star. And though both parties have kept quiet about their relationship, Mila is on the same page as Ashton.

“To say my life hasn’t changed [since dating Ashton] would be a lie,” says the Oz the Great and Powerful star, 29. “It has changed, I don’t really know how. I can’t complain, nor am I complaining, but I can’t leave my house as freely as I used to. I censor myself. Lately, more.”

As for Ashton, whose résumé of movies include Dude, Where’s My Car?, Just Married, and My Boss’s Daughter, also discusses why he decided to take on the Two and a Half Men role.

“You know, I didn’t really go the starving-artist route. I kind of went and did massive, commercial things. [Two and a Half Men] is a very commercial show. But it’s very fun to do,” says the star of the upcoming Steve Jobs bio flick jOBS, adding, “I’m surrounded by an amazing group of people. And I can be home for dinner.”
