Clarence House has released more details about Prince George's christening in London this afternoon.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have decided to honor William's late mother, Princess Diana, by having Julia Samuels, Di's close friend, serve as one of the godparents to their 3-month-old. The Princess of Wales passed away in August 1997 when her sons William and Harry were just 15 and 12, respectively.

“Diana would have loved a grandchild and I think she’d be like any doting grandmother," Di’s comrade, Marie Sutton, tells Life & Style. "She was such a lovely, down-to-earth lady. I can imagine her showing everyone photos and talking about her grandchild constantly."

More details reveal that the baby boy will wear a replica of the Royal Christening Robe created by Angela Kelly, Dressmaker to The Queen.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby, will conduct the baptism and use the Lily Font and water from the River Jordan.

After the service, private tea will be served in Clarence House. Guests will be served christening cake, which is from a tier of Kate and William's wedding cake.
