Follow the step-by-step below to get Rhianna's SMOKEY EYE LOOK!
Concealer, pressed or loose powder, deep black eye shadow, black gel eyeliner, full set of false eyelashes and glue, mascara, eyeliner brush (medium and large size), eye shadow fluff brushes and a blush brush, blush and shimmery illuminating powder.
STEP 1: Conceal under your eyes and on your lids all the way up to your brow. This creates a nice even eye for the eyeshadow to glide on.
STEP 2: Powder: This is a super important step. Use a powder that is slightly lighter than your skin tone and powder your lids. You've just created a great eye primer.
STEP 3: Take a black gel eyeliner and place it over the entire lid. This creates a very dark base and layers the makeup for longer wear.
STEP 4: Use a deep black matte eye shadow (the more pigmented the better!) and place it on the entire lid blending it up just over the crease and out on the sides of the eyes to create an almond shaped effect.
STEP 5: Next use a medium to long length full set of lashes gluing them on securely over your natural lashes. You may want to try this with a friend and have them put your lashes on. This takes a few tries to perfect, but it's a must for this kind of smokey eye.
STEP 6: Line the top of your eyes with black gel eyeliner making sure to also cover any glue that may be showing on the lashes and extend the line out past your eye angling it up slightly as you go out.
STEP 7: Tight line under the top lashes and in the water line of your bottom lashes with a deep black liner. Then line in between your bottom lashes and smudge out with your finger. Make sure your entire eye is lined and don't forget the inner corners.
STEP 8: Now start blending the edges of the black shadow on your top lids with the larger fluff brush. Start in the inner corner and blend outwards. If you blend inwards it will end up on the sides of your nose and get messy. If you need to keep applying more shadow and blending that will help build up the intensity of the look. With a smaller detail brush (or a Q-tip) smudge black shadow under your lower lashes. Be careful not to do too harsh of a line, you want it to smooth out nicely.
STEP 9: Apply lots of mascara to your lashes--both top and bottom.
STEP 10: Fill in your brows with a brow powder and brush out. The brows should be shaped well, but not too dark.
STEP 11: Finish by powdering your entire face one more time and you're ready to go!!
