Raleigh and Tunicia Hall celebrated one of the happiest days of their lives when the pair said “I do” last June.
But a month after the ceremonious union, the bride was rushed to the hospital after she suffered from what doctors called “an uncommon brain hemorrhage.” Medical professionals said she had a 50/50 chance of survival.
“I felt like I lost her,” Raleigh said.
Tunicia did survive, but when she awoke, she didn’t recognize the man she just married nor the wedding that took place.
“Are we married?” she asked Raleigh. The Queens pair have known each other for more than 30 years.
Raleigh knew it was up to him to jog her memory, so he covered her hospital room with 1,000 wedding photographs in the hope she would remember.
And you know what? It worked. Her memory slowly, but surely returned.
