Jeff Goldblum (David Levinson)

The 64-year-old reprised his role as an MIT-educated computer expert in 2016's Independence Day: Resurgence and will appear in the next Thor movie, which hits theaters later this year. The actor became a first time dad in 2015 when his son Charlie was born on July 4 (yes, Independence Day!) His wife, Emilie Livingston, is currently pregnant with the couple's second child.

Bill Pullman (President Thomas J. Whitmore)

The 63-year-old also reprised his role in the Independence Day sequel and starred in the 2016 films LBJ with Woody Harrelson and Brother Nature. He currently has four projects in the works, including a Western titled The Ballad of Lefty Brown.

Will Smith (Captain Steven Hiller)

The 48-year-old starred in the highly anticipated action flick Suicide Squad in 2016, and his new movie, Collateral Beauty, was just released last month. He was also nominated for a Golden Globe for his work in 2015's Concussion.

Margaret Colin (Constance Spano)

The 58-year-old is best known by millennials for playing Blair Waldorf's mother Eleanor on the hit TV show Gossip Girl. She's also had guest-starring roles on Gotham, Madam Secretary, and Veep.

Judd Hirsch (Julius Levinson)

The 81-year-old reprised his role as David's father in Independence Day: Resurgence, and recently guest-starred on the popular sitcoms The Big Bang Theory and The Goldbergs.

The 64-year-old currently stars as Sharon Raydor on the TNT show Major Crimes, which was just renewed for a sixth season.

The 66-year-old's last film credit was in 2009 for the sports comedy Balls Out: Gary the Tennis Coach. He's currently living in Lincoln, VT, with wife Evi.

Mae Whitman (Patricia Whitmore)

The 28-year-old former child star completed a long-running stint on the NBC drama Parenthood in 2015, and had a small role in the Gilmore Girls revival A Year in the Life. She currently voices characters on the series Young Justice and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
