Six months after Desiree Hartsock said “yes” to Chris Siegfried’s proposal on the season finale of The Bachelorette, the pair finally celebrated their engagement!
The couple held a bash for their upcoming nuptials at DeLille Cellars in Woodinville, Wash., over the weekend.
“Selfie! Incredible night with friends and family!” the brunette beauty captioned the shot below, which shows the soon-to-be newlyweds smiling from ear-to-ear.
The mortgage broker, 28, also took to Instagram to address their night of dinner and dancing with family and friends.
“We’re engaged! what a great time last night with great people,” he wrote.
The 27-year-old bridal designer, who failed to win Sean Lowe’s heart on last season’s The Bachelor, looked gorgeous in a very wedding-esque dress.
She rocked a white minidress with a cutout neckline. As for Chris, he looked dapper in a black button up and gray slacks.
Guests like Jason and Molly Mesnick noshed on yummy food like crab pot pie and wild mushroom and kale bread pudding and sipped on wine and beer.
As Life & Style reported, Des initially wanted to get married this summer, but ABC, the network that airs The Bachelor franchises, suggested she wait until the fall because the sunny season isn't exactly best for ratings.
“She’s very upset about not being able to get married in the summer like she’s always dreamed, but she’s willing to make the sacrifice because she would marry Chris tomorrow if she could,” an insider told Life & Style in October.
“She just wants to get married so bad, but still wants to be able to take advantage of having a TV wedding.”
