Is Kenya Moore pregnant? After months of speculation, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star finally anounced that she is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Marc Daly during part one of the RHOA reunion.

“We will definitely be welcoming a boy or girl in late this year,” Kenya told host Andy Cohen. “Oh my God, I said that! I don’t want to talk about the details because I’m still very nervous about everything so I want to get past a safe place.”

The news was first revealed in a report by Love B Scott that claimed the 47-year-old is due by the end of the year. Another interesting tidbit is that her normally shy hubby is suddenly willing to go on-camera, which could make things very interesting.

Fans have been wondering if she was expecting her first child with Marc for months. On the Feb. 12 episode of the show, Kenya skipped out of the girls’ trip to Barcelona partly because she wasn’t getting along with her castmates and partly because she had an appointment with her gynecologist…to take a pregnancy test!

In a scene from the episode, Kenya revealed that her period was six weeks late so she went to take a urine pregnancy test at her doctor’s office. The results came back as “inconclusive” but the doctor also took a blood test and she had to wait a little longer for those results to come back to find out if she is really pregnant. But with Kenya’s surprise announcement, it sounds like they must have come back positive.

Kenya has been very open about her desire to start a family and even though it’s not very common for women at that age to become pregnant, IVF treatments could make it possible for her dreams to come true. But according to the timeline, Kenya didn’t start IVF treatments until after her gynecologist visit was filmed.

Back in November, Kenya was spotted at the Barbados Fertility Centre, which is a world-renowned fertility clinic, and multiple reports claimed that she was undergoing IVF treatments in order to conceive. But since RHOA is filmed months in advance, the Barcelona trip took place at some point in August because it coincided with the airport strikes, according to Bravo’s Jet Set, which means that Kenya took her pregnancy test about three months before her Barbados trip.

In an interview in January, Kenya hinted that she could be making a new addition to her family very soon and that’s why it’s been hard for her and Marc to decide where they want to settle down and they’re currently splitting their time between New York and Atlanta.

“I’ve always loved New York, but I think it just depends on [what] the next nine months might look like and what kind of room we’ll need and where we’ll be in terms of that,” she told Bravo’s The Daily Dish back in December. “So we’re figuring it out, but it just depends on where our family, the number in our family, will be in the future.” It looks like that number will be at least three!
