We are just a few weeks away from the Winter Olympics — but as like most die-hard Americans, we just have one question: Will The Bachelor continue to air during the Winter Games? Or will there be a mini-hiatus to focus on Team USA?

Luckily, fans of Arie Luyendyk Jr. can rest easy because the show will go on uninterrupted during the 2018 Olympics because let’s face it — roses are better than gold medals. OK, we might be slightly exaggerating (we’ll definitely be rocking our red, white, and blue on every night except Mondays), but we can’t help but be excited about ABC doubling down on its Bachelor content by also airing The Bachelor Winter Games during the international sporting competition.

The ~fake~ Winter Games will premiere on Tuesday, Feb 13, the first Tuesday of the quadrennial Winter Games, and the four-episode series will continue on Feb. 15, 20, and 22 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Arie will meanwhile be continuing his quest for true love on Monday nights at 8 p.m.

“At the end of the day, it’s going to be about finding love again,” ABC reality chief Rob Mills told The Hollywood Reporter of The Bachelor Winter Games. “It will have some of the Bachelor Pad DNA, in that there is going to be a competition element. And the other thing we’re excited about is having contestants form the international formats of The Bachelor. So you have somebody from Bachelor Japan, Bachelor Australia, Bachelor Canada and Bachelor U.K. We’re really excited to see if we can have some international romances as well as the competition in the U.S. vs. the world.”

And The Bachelor won’t be the only show competing against the Winter Olympics when it comes to viewers. CBS recently unveiled the cast of Celebrity Big Brother, which will also air during the Winter Games from Feb. 7 to its finale on Feb. 25, also the night of the Closing Ceremony. So what can Bachelor Nation expect next month?

Well, we already know Arie will face off against one of his final ladies’ ex-boyfriend when he confronts the former race car driver before popping the question. Before that, we have hometown dates, trips to Europe, and fingers crossed, not too much more of Krystal’s baby voice.

If you can’t wait to find out who Arie picks, we have your spoilers here. In the meantime, be sure to join our Bachelor Facebook group, for more exclusive news and updates!
