Say it ain't so! Fans were outraged when President Trump's Supreme Court nominee announcement interrupted The Bachelorette on July 9 and pushed back The Proposal. Several viewers thought their favorite television shows were going to be cut off or not air at all — after waiting patiently all week — so many took to Twitter to air their grievances.

"For real though, why interrupt #TheBachelorette when you could have interrupted #TheProposal and make America a little bit greater," an angry viewer tweeted. Another hilariously added: "Trump is getting in the way of #TheProposal. Who cares about some ol' #SCOTUS appointee. rolls eyes." One more agreed, writing: "This is going to make #TheProposal run late. Some of us have jobs that we have to get up for."

Fans of the franchise were totally freaking out, but Chris Harrison cleared the air via Twitter. He revealed that the show will still air tonight, though it will be interrupted. "Here’s my PSA for #BachelorNation @abcnews will be cutting in at 9/8 ET/CT tonight for SCOTUS announcement," he wrote. "#TheBachelorette will be 'paused' and seen in its entirety. Now go have a great day and I’ll see you tonight!"

We're so glad that we won't miss anything from the juicy episode of Bachelorette this week, because Becca Kufrin is down to her final six and it's going to be a doozy! And of course, Colton Underwood, who admitted that he was previously dating Becca's fellow Bachelor contestant Tia, reveals a big secret to Becca involving his virginity. Next week, Becca will be down to her final four, meaning those epic hometown trips are just around the corner!

On the plus side, fans of The Proposal are also in luck. "#TheProposal might start a little later than usual tonight. Don't forget to adjust your DVRs," a post on the show's Twitter page read. Viewers are in for a treat, since the mystery woman on tonight's episode is interested in finding a mix of "Mr. Rogers and Christian Grey." In the teaser clip, the audience was going absolutely crazy and a few were even shedding tears!

So, tune in to The Bachelorette tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC to catch all of the (slightly interrupted) drama followed by The Proposal at 10 p.m.
