Congratulations! Jared Padalecki is now a dad of three!

The Gilmore Girls alum and his wife, Genevieve Cortese, welcomed a daughter on March 17, and announced the news with a post on Instagram.

“Please welcome the newest Padalecki, Odette Elliott!!” Genevieve captioned a photo of herself kissing the baby girl. “I wanted to celebrate this special occasion by collaborating with one of my favorite brands, @popandsuki, to raise funds for two amazing causes: Planned Parenthood and Human Rights Campaign, who need our help now more than ever. Help us spread the love and joy Odette has brought us by monogramming your own heart tag.”

The couple is already parents to sons Thomas, 5, and Shepherd, 3. Jared revealed that his wife was expecting again during an appearance on LIVE with Kelly in November. “Father of two, about to be father of three in March,” he said at the time.

Genevieve, who met the actor on the set of his hit show Supernatural in 2008, recently joined Instagram, and has been sharing photos of her baby bump in the weeks leading up to Odette’s birth. “Ahhhh, can they just stay this age forever? Excited to do this all over again with these two plus baby,” the brunette beauty wrote next to a photo of herself reading to the boys.

Jared previously opened up about how he balances work and fatherhood, telling reporters at the CW TCA panel in 2014, "After Supernatural I hope to kind of back off from the business and work more sporadically and be a father and be a basketball coach for my kids, maybe get into producing or something.”

He added, “I am violently protective of my — I call it my off-time — when I'm not working. I'm straight home and whether they’re in Vancouver or they’re in Seattle or wherever we happen to be, I’m straight to them.”
