“So Sick of People Judging Me”Jason Aldean Defends His Relationship With Mistress Brittany Kerr
Jason Aldean wants to move on with his life and he wants everyone else to do the same.
The country star infamously cheated on his wife, high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery, with American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr nearly two years ago. Today he and Brittany are a couple — and he says it’s time people start supporting their relationship.
After posting a photo of the pair with a new puppy on his Instagram account over the weekend, many of his followers strongly criticized him for the move.
He then followed up the post with a second Instagram that read: “You know my name, not my story. You’ve heard what I’ve done, not what I’ve been through.”
Jason — who filed for divorce from Jessica in 2013 after trying to patch things up post-cheating scandal — further explained his feelings in the caption.
“So sick of people judging me and @brittanylkerr over things they know nothing about. I have made mistakes but i am a better person because of it, and wouldnt (sic) change a thing,” wrote the 37-year-old, who has two children with Jessica.
“Im (sic) happier than i have ever been, so thank u to all the people who support us. We are happy and life goes on. Its time to move on people. #aldeanarmy #oldnews #timeto.”
