Jennifer Aniston Just Asked Brad Pitt for Some Pretty Big Career Advice — and We’re Shipping Them All Over Again (EXCLUSIVE)

In case you haven’t heard, Jennifer Aniston‘s rep recently announced that she’ll be returning to TV in a series about morning news shows — and Life & Style has exclusively learned that this latest career move was influenced by her ex-husband Brad Pitt! An insider claims the actress sent her former spouse a copy of the pilot script.

“[He] strongly encouraged her to take the role,” the insider shares. “He thought the script was absolutely hilarious.” This marks Jen’s first recurring television role since her hit sitcom Friends came to an end in 2004. “Brad reminded Jen that TV has been attracting Hollywood’s best talent lately. He advised her to both produce and star in the show,” the insider adds.

As Life & Style previously reported, the duo became friends again after Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad, 53, in September 2016. “[He] apologized [to Jen] for all the heartbreak,” a different source revealed in June. “He doesn’t usually open up like that, but through therapy and recovery, he’s learned to express his feelings. He addressed all the hurt he caused her.”

It’s long been speculated that Brad and Angie started an affair on the set of their 2005 movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith while the Fight Club star was still married to Jennifer. The pair went on to raise six children together, tying the knot in 2014. Jen, 48, married current husband Justin Theroux in 2015.

Despite their painful (and very public) split, the We’re the Millers star “was really won over by [Brad’s] apology,” the source explained. “A new era has begun for them. She was incredibly receptive to the amends he was making. She told him she forgives him and to focus on the future.”
