Dare we say shots were just fired?! There’s no denying that Jinger Duggar is the most rebellious of the Duggar daughters — and many think it’s because her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, was raised significantly more secular than the rest of the Duggar in-laws. And even though he’s now a pastor, it looks like he’s really letting his differences shine through — as evidenced by his latest sermon. Check out the video above to see what he said!

When Jinger and Jeremy first announced their courtship, engagement, and eventual marriage, fans who valued the Duggars’ modest and conservative nature were surprised by his upbringing — most notably, his criminal record and his tattoos, which are especially taboo in the Duggars’ circles. When In Touch first broke news of his 2008 arrest for drunkenly harassing a police office, he blamed his actions on his age and the overall scene in college.

“I was part of the college party scene and was living foolishly,” he said at the time. “I’m not perfect, but I sought out accountability and I now see great victory in my life.”

While some aren’t fans of Jeremy’s “rebellious” reputation — and what appears to be his willingness to go against his reality TV in-laws — plenty of fans (us included!) think that he makes a perfect partner for his pregnant wife. “I love the woman [Jinger] has become. God blessed you with her, Jeremy,” one fan gushed on Instagram. Another wrote, “I’m amazed each time I see a pic of you together! Your love for each other shines as brightly as the sun, and the look in your eyes when you look at each other is simply palpable. I hope each of my children are as blessed in finding the love of their life as you two have been! A beautiful sight to behold. May God continue to rain His blessings upon you!”
