The Situation Finally Ends Feud With Snooki, Details Their Recent Phone Call: “I Thought Something Was Wrong” (EXCLUSIVE)

Just in time for Throwback Thursday, Life & Style can exclusively reveal that Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi have ended their longtime feud. Throughout the six seasons of Jersey Shore, the two castmates constantly bickered and butted heads, but had their final falling out in Season 4 when Mike accused Snooki of cheating on her now-husband, Jionni LaValle.
Now, with rumors of a Jersey Shore reunion underway, all is right in the fist-pumping world again.

While the two are on good terms today, The Situation did confirm that he didn’t speak with the mother-of-two for several years after the show wrapped. “There was definitely a period of time where there was resentment, most likely on her side. On my side, I was willing to let bygones be bygones,” he said. “We’re on a reality show, stuff happens. This is kind of what we’re supposed to do. At the end of the day, I’ve got nothing but love for [her].”

The 34-year-old admitted he recently spoke to Snooki on the phone, but was initially surprised to receive a call from her after all these years. “I picked up, I thought something was wrong,” he told Life & Style back in May, adding that she was calling to invite him to fellow Jersey Shore castmate Sammi Sweetheart’s 30th birthday party but he wasn’t able to attend.

Despite their rocky relationship, it’s great to see these two on good terms again. Though the Jersey Shore reunion hasn’t been officially confirmed by any parties, the amount of hinting on social media has been relentless. The cast did, however, reunite to shoot a Burger King commercial back in July, so that may have to hold us over until the official announcement happens.

Former co-star Vinny Guadagnino previously revealed to Life & Style that he’d be on board for a reunion. “I’m down for a lot,” he said. “As long as it’s entertaining, as long as it’s funny. There are some things in life that are like, no I’m not gonna do that if it doesn’t fit me, but of course I would love to. Whatever entertains people.”
