Angelina Pivarnick seems to be doing just fine with her personal life outside of the Jersey Shore. While attending STYLE360 Sachika's Fashion Show at New York Fashion Week on Feb. 16, her boyfriend, David Kovacs, got down on one knee and asked for Angelina's hand in marriage. Now the former Jersey Shore cast member opens up to Life & Style about her engagement:

"I was totally surprised!" the reality star tells Life & Style about the big moment. "I almost fainted! We've joked around about it before, but it was definitely a huge surprise."
David certainly caught the attention of everyone in attendance as he proposed to Angelina on the red carpet!
"He knows that's me and that I love Fashion Week," says Angelina. "So rather than just propose to me in front of people on the sidewalk somewhere in Manhattan, he knew it'd be memorable to do it during something that's a part of my life."
Like any newly engaged woman, Angelina is still happily stunned.
"I woke up confused this morning with a ring on my finger!" she says. "I'm just still in shock! I'm getting used to the feeling of the ring being there. People are saying 'Congratulations!' to me and I'm like, 'What for? Oh, I forgot: I'm engaged!'"
So just who is the man who swept Angelina off her feet? David is an investment banker who is also in the process of doing Wall Street training. The two, both of Italian-Hungarian descent, grew up around the corner from each other in Staten Island, N.Y.
"We got together after I left Jersey Shore in Miami and have been dating for only a couple of months," Angelina tells Life & Style. "He's never been engaged before. Some people are saying it's fast, but it's not always about time. If we'd known each other for [only] a week and decided we wanted to get married, then we would've done it."
Angelina is content with her decision and knows how happy David makes her feel, regardless of the short time they've been together.
"When you know, you know," she says. "It's my life, and I'm happy with my life. It matters more about how you feel rather than how much time you've been together. Sometimes, people date for 10 years, get married and then divorce. I'm a big believer in that it's more about how you feel than how much time has gone by."
