Jessica Alba was moved to tears at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday when introducing family members of those killed in recent shootings.
All of the teens on stage had lost someone close to them in highly publicized attacks, including Cameron Sterling, whose father Alton was killed by police on July 5.

Ne-Yo then performed "What's Goin' On" in a tribute to the victims of Sandy Hook, San Bernardino and Orlando, among others.

Following the emotional performance, the actress and singer urged the crowd to tweet using the hashtag #stoptheviolence as a way to bring awareness to these senseless tragedies.
It was certainly a sobering moment in an otherwise high-energy evening.
