Flu season is in full swing, and Jessica Simpson is feeling its wrath. But she used this unfortunate down time to post a make-up free selfie on Instagram — and for someone who’s sick, she looks flawless AF. The 37-year-old didn’t just share the selfie, though. Jess hilariously compared herself to Ricky Martin after two people commented that they look exactly alike.

Jessica posted a side-by-side photo of her and Ricky with the caption, “Thank you for all the well wishes and compliments, and to @karihufnagel and [beekk] for pointing out my lookalike, [Ricky Martin] ? #TWINNING.”

Their eyes, though! Even their chins are structured the same way. Jessica and Ricky legitimately look like they could be related even though they aren’t. But the blonde beauty and Puerto Rican singer’s eerily similar looks in the pics had fans freaking out in the comments section. One person said, “Like brother and sister! That’s crazy!” Another added, “I thought that when i saw this photo before hahaha i thaught [sic] I was the only one thinking of that. You are the funniest.”

Ricky hasn’t liked the photo yet, but we bet he’d get a kick out of Jessica’s twinning joke. The pair have known each other for a long time. In fact, Jess was the 46-year-old’s opening act in 1999 on his Livin’ la Vida Loca tour. Though she only performed during the North American dates, that’s one bond that can’t be broken!

Here’s hoping she recovers from the flu quickly, but one thing’s for sure: If Jessica keeps posting comparisons of her and Ricky Martin, you won’t hear any complaints from us!
