What could be more fun for a kid than a pre-Christmas shopping spree at FAO Schwarz? A pre-Christmas shopping spree with your own personal shopper!
When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took their brood of six for an hour-long visit to the giant toy store in NYC on Dec. 7, they got the A-list treatment.
"The kids pointed out what they wanted to a personal shopper, who then put everything in a bag for them," an eyewitness tells Life & Style. "They ended up having lots of bags with toys."
Angelina has famously said, "We try not to spoil our children" -- but it seems the actress broke her own rule as a special treat for the kids. Also accompanied by bodyguards, the Brangie bunch roamed the store picking out presents. "Brad took the boys and Angie took the girls," another onlooker tells Life & Style. "Angie and the girls were looking in the Barbie section, and they picked out different dolls and Hello Kitty items. Then the boys and the girls met up on the second floor together near Spider-Man. The children also picked out lollipops in the candy section."
And of course, the kids couldn't resist catching a glimpse of the famous giant FAO Schwarz floor piano! "The kids loved the big piano, but they didn't want to take their shoes off," the onlooker tells Life & Style. "So they just watched, but really enjoyed it."
Brad and Angelina have been in NYC since the weekend to promote Angie's new film, The Land of Blood and Honey, and have been squeezing in quality time with the kids every chance they get. Aside from this over-the-top shopping trip, Angie took Maddox, Shiloh and Zahara to see the movie The Muppets on Dec. 3.
