The exes turned recent lovers clearly don’t give AF about where they’re seen together after displaying PDA on a recent trip to Jamaica. If you’re having trouble keeping up with Selena and Justin’s relationship timeline then you’re not alone. The stars began their on-again, off-again relationship in 2009. True Jelena fans held out hope that the former exes would reunite, but they’ve only recently provided fans with ~official~ photo confirmation.
Selena, 25, and Justin, 23, returned to LA shortly after attending the “Sorry” singer’s father and new stepmom’s beautiful Jamaican wedding. The fact that Selena was included invited to the nuptials further proves that Jelena is the real deal. “Justin and Selena are the best example of falling in love at the wrong time but finding each other again in the future,” one fan tweeted about the couple. Another added, “If Selena and Justin are back together after everything they’ve gone thru then b—h I believe in EVERYTHING.”
Sel and Justin prove it’s possible to set aside differences in the name of true love. “I’m 25. I’m not 18, or 19, or 20. I cherish people who have really impacted my life,” Selena explained of her relationship with Justin in an interview with Billboard. “So maybe before, it could have been forcing something that wasn’t right. But that doesn’t mean caring for someone ever goes away.” Life & Style confirmed last year that the singers were easing their way back into each other’s lives: “Selena decided it was time to forgive Justin,” a source exclusively revealed. Another source added, “they’ve been texting [more], talking, and even making plans to meet up.” Long live, Jelena.
